Each day I look at my calendar and cringe a little more. I am desperately trying to finish all of my graduate work for my courses, plan my incredibly large wedding, and still keep up with the house, the laundry, and the cooking all while working full time. Each day my schedule is packed. I am trying not to think about Thanksgiving. Don't think about it, don't talk about it, and it won't be here that soon! Christmas shopping? I can't even fathom the thought. You see, I work retail. Jewelry retail. The one gift every woman wants during the holidays. My position at this fine jewelry retail store means that I am completely non-existent to my friends, family, house, school, and then some from Black Friday to around 5pm on Christmas Eve. I live and breathe Jimmy's Fine Jewelry. I sleep in my dress pants. Don't get me wrong, I love my job and I absolutely love holidays at my job. The rush is great. The customers are the best. The sweets don't hurt either. However, the to do list from now until Thanksgiving seems never ending. I better get started!!
